Then, /_ AOB = 60° , OA = 9.5 m
And, /_ OAB = 90°.
Length of the ladder. = OB
Let OB = X m.
From right ∆OAB , we have :
OB/OA = Sec60° = 2
=> X/9.5 = 2
=> X = ( 2 × 9.5 )
=> X = 19 m .
