Radius of the hemispherical tank=3/2 m
Volume of the hemispherical tank=2/3πr³ cu.units
=2/3×22/7×3/2×3/2×3/2=99/14 m³=99/14×1000 l=49500/7 litres    (1 m³=1000 l)
Volume of the half of tank=(1/2)×(49500/7)=24750/7 litres
Volume of water emptying in 1 s=25/7 l
Time required to empty 25/7 l=1 s
Time required to empty 1 l=1/(25/7)=7/25 s
Time required to empty 24750/7 l=(24750/7)×(7/25)=990 s=990/60=16.5 min=16 min 30 s(Ans.)
