Hey mate,

Let the ratio between them =3x &5x respectively

According to the question,

3x+10/5x+10=5/7

Or, 21x+70=25x+50

Or,70-50=25x-21x

Or,20=4x

X=5

Therefore, the original numbers are :--

3x=15

5x=25

Hope it helps

Let the two numbers be 3x and 5x.

According to the question,if the two numbers are increased by 10 then there ratio becomes 5:7

I. e3x+10/5x+10=5/7
»7(3x+10)=5(5x+10)
»21x+70=25x+50
»70-50=25x-21x
»20=4x
»20/4=x
»5=x
Therefore,x=5

Now, the original numbers=3x
= 3×5
=15
= 5x
=5×5
=25

Hope this answer helps you mate.
