when ∆abc~∆qrp
then corresponding side of BC is pr

so if area ∆abc/area∆pqr=9/4
and we know that ratio of area of two similar∆is equal to the square of the ratio of their corresponding side
so 9/4=(BC/pr)^2
so BC/pr=3/2
now BC=15
so pr=15*2/3
pr=10
