Hey!!!

________

let the two numbers be x and y

Then ATQ,

=> (x + y = 9)3
=> 3x + 3y = 27 ------(1)

and

=> 5x - 3y = 5------(2)

Add (1) and (2)

=> 3x + 3y + 5x - 3y = 27 + 5

=> 8x = 32

=> x = 4

Using in original 1

=> 4 + y = 9

=> y = 5

Thus the numbers are 4 and 5

Hey

Here is your answer,

Let the two numbers be x and y

According to the question,

x+y=9----------eq.1
5x-3y=5-------------eq.2

From equation 1,

x=9-y

Substituting the value of x in equation 2,

5(9-y)-3y=5
45-5y-3y=5
45-8y=5
-8y=5-45
-8y=-40
y=-40/-8
y=5

Substituting the value of y ,
x=9-y
x=9-5
x=4

Therefore the two numbers are 4 and 5

Hope it helps you!
