let 1/x =A, and 1/y =B,

then the equation becomes

4A+5B=7,...........eq(1),

3A+4B=5,...........eq(2),

now solve these two equations, you will get the answer.



2):-

3x²-x-10=0,

3x²-(6-5)x-10=0,

3x²-6x+5x-10=0,

3x(x-2)+5(x-2)=0,

(x-2)(3x+5)=0,

if
x-2=0,
then
x=2,

if
3x+5=0,

x=-5/3
