Let the breadth of the grove be X m
Then Length will be 2x-10 m
Given, that area is 600 m sq.
So (X)(2x-10)=600
2x^2-10x=600
2x^2-10x-600=0
x^2-5x-300=0
x^2+15x-20x-300=0
x(x+15)-20(x+15)=0
(x-20)(x+15)=0
x=20 or x=-15
Since breadth can't be negative so breadth is 20 metres and length is 2(20)-10=30 metres respectively......
