Hey Mate!!

For comparing ratios, they must be in their simplest form.

(a) 3 : 4 and 45 : 60

=> 45 : 60

=> 3 : 4 ______(On dividing by 3)

Since 3 : 4 = 3 : 4, the ratios are equivalent.

(b) 4 : 5 and 28 : 35

=> 28 : 35

=> 4 : 5 ______(On dividing by 7)

Since 4 : 5 = 4 : 5, the ratios are equivalent.

(c) 7 : 4 and 56 : 32

=> 56 : 32

=> 7 : 4 _______(On dividing by 8)

Since 7 : 4 = 7 : 4, the ratios are equivalent.

(d) 6 : 11 and 42 : 55

=> 42 : 55 and 6 : 11 are in simplest form.

But, the ratios are not equivalent.
