The brain has three main parts: the cerebrum, cerebellum and brainstem. Cerebrum: is the largest part of the brain and is composed of right and left hemispheres. It performs higher functions like interpreting touch, vision and hearing, as well as speech, reasoning, emotions, learning, and fine control of movement.

Ans.(i) The brain of an adult human weights about 1300 - 1400 grams and consists of approximately 100 billions neurons.

(ii) The left side of the brain controls the right side the body and right side of the body controls the left side of the body.

(iii) In addition, the left side of the brain controls our speech and conversation, writing logical thinking etc. Whereas the right side of the controls artistic abilities.
