If the base are same then you can add the powers. (applicable only in multiplication)

If the powers are same and base are different, u can multiply the bases and take power common.

For eg: a²*b²=(ab)²

In the case of division,

If the bases are same and the power of the numerator is greater than that of the denominator then take base common and subtract.

For eg:11½/11¼=(11)½-¼= (11)¼

If the bases are not same and powers are same then divide and take power common as I told you in the case of multiplication.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU
