Plzz Tell Me....

If the Prime Minister of India does not have a term of five years but a majority in the Lok Sabha or till the President's presidency then why are elections in every 5 years?

because term of lok sabha is of 5 years and Pm if wholly responsible to lok sabha so if lok sabha dissolves before its termed year has gotten over he has to resign as in case a no confidence motion is passed.
hope I am right

When the term, dissolution of Parliament is used, it only means the Lok Sabha, the House of the People, the Lower House of Parliament.

Parliament comprises the President, Lok Sabha, and Rajya Sabha, the Council of States, the Upper House. The first and third have fixed terms of five and six years respectively, the Lok Sabha has a term of five years but can be dissolved earlier.
