If you want to improve rank or increase average marks in exam then the most important chapter is chemistry.

Either you are in class 9 or  prepairing for JEE then the chapter that will decide your selection is Chemistry.

I can confidently say it because i am prepairing for IIT JEE and always found Chemistry as a rank booster chapter.
