(i) The mirror that she is using is a Concave Mirror, because only a concave mirror is depressed at the center and gives an enlarged ad erect image.

The focal length of this mirror is 20cm

As the mirror is at 15 cm, and a sharp image is formed at the 35 cm mark, the focal length will be =

Mark on the meter scale at which the image is formed - Mark where Mirror is placed

(ii) Since the focal length of the mirror is 20 cm, the image will be formed 20 cm away from the mirror. As the mirror is placed at the 15 cm mark, the image is formed at 15 + 20 = 35cm
