area of a circle is pie r square
22/7×3.5×3.5=38.5
area of 4circle is 154
now area of square is 7×7=49
area of circular portion is
154-49=105

hiii!!!

given the side of the square is 7cm.

area of the square = side²

= 7×7

= 49cm²

given the radius of the circle is 3.5cm.

area of one circle = πr²

= 22/7×3.5×3.5

= 269.5/7

= 38.5cm²

therefore area of four circle = 38.5×4

= 154cm²

hence area of the shaded portion = 154-49

= 105cm²
