Let the length be xm
& breadth be ym

then,
according to question,
perimeter of Rectangle=2(l+b)
180=2(x+y)
180=2x+2y
dividing both sides from 2

90=x+y
since we have to take value of y in terms of x as asking in the question,

x+y=90
y=90-x

so, breadth comes to be 90-x

now,
area of Rectangle=length×breadth

1800=xy

1800=x(90-x)

1800=90x-x²

x²-90x+1800=0

x²-30x-60x+1800=0

x(x-30)-60(x-30)=0

(x-30)(x-60)=0

(x-30)=0
x=30

(x-60)=0
x=60

*If length is 30m
then breadth =90-x
=90-30
breadth=60m



*If length is 60m
then breadth=90-x
=90-60
breadth=30m
