  1. The separate of religion and the state in democratic societies is very important because of following reasons . It helps a country to function democratically. It protects the freedom of individuals to exit from their religion, embrace another religion
  2. Article 25 says " All persons are equally entitled to freedom of conscience and the right to freely profess, practice and propagate religion subject to public order, morality and health." Further, Article 26 says that all denominations can manage their own affairs in matter of religion.
  3. Freedom to interpret means having independence to understand things in our own way. It refers to people's liberty to develop their own understanding and meaning of the religion they practice.
  4. The three objectives are: 1. One religious community does not dominate another. 2. Some members do not dominate other members of the same religious community. 3. The state does not enforce any particular religion nor does it take away the religious freedom of individuals.
