24) Total cardboard required for 1 vase = LSA of cylinder + Area of base

 = 2πrh + πr²
= πr ( 2h + r)
= 22/7 x 7 ( 2 x 336 + 7)
= 22 (679)
= 14938 cm²

75 vases = 1120350 cm³

Rs 10 per 50 cm²
Per cm³ = Rs 1/5
Total cost = 1120350 / 5 = Rs 224070



25) Radius = 10 cm
Length = 18 km/hr = 1800000 cm/hr

Volume of water per hour = πr²h = 22/7 x 10² x 1800000
= 22/7 x 1800000 = 5657142.86 cm³

1 cm³ = 0.001 liter
5657142.86 cm³ = 5657.142 liters per hour

In 4 hours = 5657.142 x 4 = 22628.568 liters

Base area = 22/7 × 7 × 7 = 154 cm²

Total cardboard required for 1 vase = 14784 + 154 = 14938 cm²

Total cardboard required for 75 vases = 75×14938
= 1120350 cm³

Cost of cardboard for 50 cm² = Rs 10


Cost of cardboard for 1cm³ = Rs 1/5

Total cost = 1120350 / 5
= Rs 224070
