let n be any positive integers
on dividing n by 8 we get m as a quotient and r as a remainder.
now by Euclid's division lemma:-
m=8n+r where r=0,1
if r =0 then
m=8n
if r=1 then
m= 8n+1
hence, any positive integers is of the form 8n+1 where n is some integers.
