What Is the Difference between Penicillium Notatum and Penicillium Chrysogenum ¿ ?

notatum was the first pencillium used and made by Flemming, where as chrysogenum is used nowadays

Penicillium Notatum and Penicillium Chrysogenum are the same and is a source of Penicillin.

Penicillium Chrysogenum (the actual scientific name) which is also called Penicillium Notatum, is a species of fungus in the genus Penicillium. It comes under the class of Eurotiomycetes. This is found commonly in subtropical and temperate regions, especially on damp walls and structures.
