germ cells when fuse together and form a zygote and further divide to form an embryo which turns to be pluri potent in nature they in turn form a whole organism which further produces germ cells which contain the genes which are passed on by the first germ cell
They form a germ line where the germ cells never die instead the are passed on to the next generations

in normal sense a group of cellls which can produce different types of organs and organ systems keep on dividing to form a organism just like u were formed frm the embryo
