✴SOLUTION✴

Given Equation:-

• (x+y)² = 100
• (x + y ) = 10 ......(1)

And,

• (x - y )² = 4
• (x - y )= 2..........(2)

Addition of equation (1) and (2)

=> 2x = 12

=> x = 12/2

=>x = 6.

Keep value of x in equation (1)

=> 6 + y = 10

=> y = 10 - 6

=> y = 4 .

Value of xy :-

• xy = 6 × 4
• xy = 24 .
