From figure:

Let the window be at B at a height of 60 m from the ground.

Let the height of the house = h metres.

EB = AB - AE = (h - 60) metres.

From ΔDEA,

⇒ tan 45° = EA/DE

⇒ 1 = 60/DE

⇒ DE = 60 metres.

From ΔDEB,

⇒ Tan 60° = EB/DE

⇒ √3 = h - 60/DE

⇒ DE = h - 60/√3.

On solving (1) & (2), we get

⇒ 60 = h - 60/√3

⇒ 60√3 = h - 60

⇒ 60√3 + 60 = h

h = 60(1 + √3) metres.

Hope it helps!
