Given :-

A. P :- 11, 8, 5, 2...........

First term(a) = 11

Common difference(d) = -3

To Find :-

- 150 is a term of A. P

Solution :-

We know that,

\huge{\boxed{\green{\sf{a_{n} = a + (n - 1)d}}}}

___________[Put Values]

-150 = 11 + (n - 1) -3

-150 = 11 - 3n + 3

-150 = 14 - 3n

-150 - 14 = -3n

-164 = -3n

164/3 = n

N can't be in decimal, So it is not a term of A. P
