Identify at least 3 events/processes that would have involved the movement of people across region/continents.

1) Natural Disasters.
2) Conquests of Kings. To escape death, people would have migrated.
3) Attraction towards cultures. Like how some religions were attractive to most people.

What would have been the significance of these events/processes?

SOUTH ASIA: Mahmud of Ghazni raids the north-west; Alberuni travels to India; Rajarajesvara temple built at Thanjavur;

Ibn Sina's text laid out the Idea of Medicine to the countries where he travelled. People now knew healing techniques and could treat diseases.
Mahmud ibn Sebujtegin became the most powerful ruler of the Ghaznavid Empire after this conquest.
Alberuni wrote the geographical features of India in his book Kitabalhind. This taught traders and Indians themselves routes, and the idea of Geographical Discipline became more clear to them.
This temple's construction clearly showed the Skill of the Cholas.
