let x be
p(0) = (0 - 2)2  \:  \:  - (0 - 2)2 \\  \:  \:   \:  \:  p(0) \:  \:= (0 - 4) - (0 - 4) \\   p(0)= 0 - 0 \\ p(0) = \: 0

p (x) = (x-2)^2-(x+2) ^2
this is in the form of a^2-b^2

p (x)=(x-2+x+2)(x-2-(x+2))
p (x)=2x (x-2-x-2)
p (x)=2x (-4)
p (x)=-8

p (x)=0
-8x=0
x=0

x=0 is the zero of the polynomial p (x)
