Through the column of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw attention of public and government towards the creating awareness among people about how their negligence towards their safety can affect them during this pandemic.

Sir, as Jammu has 5.02 lakh population, there is also need to understand how difficult the situation is due to covid-19.Though people know that covid-19 can easily spread directly through contact, they're taking it easy and they don't often wear masks and rarely maintain social contact. It can affect us badly. Also, as there is no vaccine created for this disease,so it it is important to maintain social distancing,washing our hands with sanitizer and wearing masks.The government and public must consider about this matter.

It'll be good if you publish this in your newspaper and the concerned authorities will see the gravity of this matter and people will take this matter seriously and some measures will be adopted to solve this problem.

With due respect I would like to state that in our area, people seldom wear facemasks and even they rarely maintain social distance. Thereby I kindly request you to post a strict awareness in the newspaper against the issue. Wearing facemasks is very necessary as it's the protection from germs and bacteria whenever we go out, and social distance should also be maintained as the same. If these people would continue this process, then obviously they will suffer. So hereby it's my kind and humble request to you to take a strict action against it.
