= 40% lesser than the price in which he sold .

Then :-

= 40% of 38

$= \frac{40}{100} \times 38$

$= \frac{(40 \times 38)}{100}$

$= \frac{1520}{100}$

$= 15. 2$

Which means 40% of $38 is $15.2 .

The price in which Akeem sold the video game :-

$= 38 - 15 .2$

$= 22.8$

Therefore , Akeem sold his video game for $22.8 .
