- Let the length of Breadth of Rectangle be X m .............(2)
Then ,
- The Length of Rectangle is thrice it's Breadth -: 3 × X = 3x m . ................(1)
Now ,
Here ,
- Length of Rectangle-: X m ...........,[From 1]
- Breadth of Rectangle-: 3x m ........... [ From 2]
- The area of the rectangular plot is 867 m²
Therefore,
Now ,
- Length of Rectangle-: X -: 17 m
- Breadth of rectangle-: 3x -: 3 × 17 = 59 m .

Length will be '3x'
Area = 867cm²
x(3x) = 867
3x² = 867
