Zinc sulphate contains 22.65% zinc
hence for 40 gm zinc needed will be
 \frac{22.65}{100}  \times 40 \\  = 9.06g

hola mate here is ur answer

given : mass percentage of zinc is 22.5% in 100% zinc sulphate , so hence the mass of zinc required to produce 40gm crystal ,is given by

22.5%/100×40g = 40×0.225 = 9.06g
