meaning

for example in the first pair. angles are same. but the order of angles is different. angle bca is =angle YXZ so from this side Ab:yz is the corresponding sides ratio

so now pick another pair of sides by looking at the angles which are equal angle ABC and xyz . the sides for them are ac:xz

now it's clear that ab:yz=ac :xz like this we can prove for all sides
