The ant will take longer round for the object which has more perimeter.
(a) Perimeter = 2.8 + 2×π×2.8/2
= 11.59cm
(b) Perimeter = 1.5+2.8+1.5+2.8π
= 14.59cm
(c) Perimeter = 2+2+2.8π
= 12.79
In the ( b ) alternate, perimeter is the largest, so the ant would have to take a longer round.
