Answer: We know, Kinetic energy,E=p^2/2m After 20% increase in momentum,p'=6p/5 So,now E'=36p^2/(25×2m) Therefore,E'/E=36/25 or,E'=(36/25)E increse in kinetic energy=(36/25)-1 =(11/25)×100% =44% (Ans.) Answer: KE = 1/2.*m.v^2 = (mv)^2/(2m) = p^2/(2m) .
