Number of chocolates Nishu had = 6 1/2 dozen = 6.5 dozen
= 6.5 × 12 [dozen =12]
= 78
Number of chocolates she gave to Ravi = 1/6 of 78 =1/6 × 78 [of (in maths) = multiplication (×)]
= 13
Number of chocolates she gave to Rahul = 1/13 of 78
= 6
Number of chocolates she gave to her other friends= 1/2 of 78
= 39
Number of chocolates left with her = 78 -13-6-39 [add the numbers with minus sign]
=78 - 58
= 20
therefore, number of chocolates left with her = 20
