To get the number of moles of electrons we usually divide by avagadro number.

The mass of metal divided number of moles of electrons (both are inter related) gives the molar mass.

But the number of electrons passing through the solution will be based on the valancy of the metal.(increases by the factor of valency)

Ex: 2 for Cu2+

3 for Fe3+

moles of electrons = n/NA(includes valency)

equivalent mass of metal = mass/mol of e-

=x/(n/NA)

=(x/n)NA
