Let the length, breadth and height of the cuboid be l,b and h respectively.

Given that sum of length, breadth and depth of a cuboid is 12 cm.

⇒ l + b + h = 12

Given diagonal of a cuboid is 5√2 cm.

⇒ √l^2 + b^2 + h^2 = 5√2

On squaring both sides, we get

⇒ l^2 + b^2 +h^2 = 50.

We know that (l + b + h)^2 = l^2 + b^2 + h^2 + 2(lb + lh  +  bh)

⇒ (12)^2 = 50 + 2(lb + lh + bh).

⇒ 144 = 50 + 2(lb + lh + bh)

⇒ 144 - 50 = 2(lb + lh + bh)

⇒ 94 = 2(lb + lh + bh)

Therefore, the surface area of the cuboid is 94 cm^2.

Hope this helps!
