Plzzzz friends someone answer this question fast....... How did the khilafat movement came to an end?

Gandhi launched the khilafat and non co operation movement in 1920, the non cooperation movement came to an end in 1922 when a mob of people burnt a police station killing 22policeman .the khilafat movement continued as a Muslim against the British government for fighting against the turkey in the 1st world war
the movement died when the new ruler of turkey came in 1924
