Given :

  • The Distance between slits is 3

Let the new fringes width β

so,

  \bold{so \:  \: \beta ' =  \frac{ \gamma d}{3d}  =  \frac{1}{3}  \beta } \\

Therefore fringe width also became ⅓ times.
