total mass =250
mass of water=90
hence loss=90/250)×100
os=9000/250
=36℅

Aaditiyadav: if what is 250???

Given: Cuso(4) * 5H(2)O - > CuSO(4) + 5H(2)O

Hydrated copper = CuSO(4).5H(2)O

= > 64 + 32 + 16 * 4  + 5(2 * 1 + 16)

= > 96 + 64 + 90

= > 250.

DeHydrated copper sulphate = CuSO(4)

= > 64 + 32 +  16 * 4

= > 64 + 32 + 64

= > 160

Now,

Difference in molecular weights = 250 - 160

                                                      = 90

% Loss = 90/250 * 100

            = 36%.

Hope this helps!
