Answer:

Since the amount of molecules of gas is tripled ..

Therefore volume also will be tripled ..I.e .C.15 l

Thank you..

Answer:

two cases :-

  • first :- if molar mass of gases are neglected .

  • second :- if molar mass of gases are not neglected .

  • MM of nitrogen = 14 .

  • MM of Carbon dioxide = 12 + (2×16) = 12 + 32 = 44 .

_______________________________________

Case 1 :- ( MM neglected ) :-

given molecules of nitrogen gas :- 10²³ .

given molecules of carbon dioxide gas :- 3 × 10²³ .

therefore , volume will be 3 times .

  • i. e , volume will be 3 × 5 L

  • = 15 L

  • hence, option c .

Case 2 :- ( MM is not neglected ) :-

we know ,

  • MM of Nitrogen is 14 .

  • MM of CO2 is 44

ratio of molar masses :- 44/14 = 3 . 14

  • therefore, volume will be 3.14 × 5 L

  • 15.70 L ( option d )
