$1500x - 1500(x+250) = -30x(x + 250)$

1500x - 1500x - 375000 = -30x^2 - 7500x

-375000=-30x^2-7500x

-30x^2-7500x+375000 = 0

It is in the form of ax^2 + bx + c = 0.

a = -30, b = -7500, c = 375000.

Now,

(1) 

$x = \frac{-b + \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac} }{2a}$

$\frac{-(-7500)+ \sqrt{(-7500)^2 - 4(-30)(375000)} }{2(-30)}$

$- \frac{7500 + \sqrt{101250000}}{60}$



(2) 

$x = \frac{-b- \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac} }{2a}$

$- \frac{(-7500) \sqrt{(-7500)^2 - 4(-30)(375000} }{2(-30)}$

$\frac{7500 - \sqrt{101250000} }{60}$
