◆The given set of linear equations are:

a^2/x-b^2/y=0....1

a^2b/x+b^2a/y=a+b....2

multiplying eq(1) by a and adding to eq(2)

a^3/x-b^2a/y=0

a^2 b/x+b^2a/y=a+b

a^3/x+a^2b/x=a+b

1/x × (a^3+a^2b)=a+b

x=a^3+a^2b

x=a^2(a+b)/(a+b)

x=a^2

substitute x=a^2 in eq(1):

a^2/a^2-b^2/y=0

1-b^2/y=0

b^2/y=1

y=b^2

Thus is the solution of the given equations.

hope this helps you.

cheers!!
