Volume of cube= a^3= 2×2×2=8 m ^3........... Now volume of cuboidal tank= l×b×h..... 250cm= 2.5 m......... 200 cm = 2m ....... Now volume = 2.5 × 2 × 2= 10 m^3...... Depth of tank which will remain empty= Cube root of (Vol. Of cubical tank - Vol. Of cubical tank ) = 10-8= 2 m^3..... Height = cube root of 2 so h = 1.25 m..... Hope it is correct...

volume of cube =8m^3
volume of cuboidal tank=250 / 2.5
volume =10m^3
h=1.25
volume of cuboidal tank=250 / 2.5
volume =10m^3
h=1.25
