Ramanujan

Explanation:

In 1913, Srinivasa Ramanujan, a 23-year-old shipping clerk from Madras, India, wrote to Hardy (and other Cambridge scholars) saying, among other things, that he had invented a formula that would measure the sum of premiums up to a hundred million, generally without error.

The self-taught and obsessed Ramanujan had been able to prove all the findings of Riemann and more, despite almost no understanding of trends in the Western world and no formal education. He said that most of his ideas had come to him in his dreams.

Hardy was the only one to understand Ramanujan's talent and bring him to Cambridge University, And he's been a colleague and mentor for many years. The two have worked together on several mathematical problems, but the Riemann Hypothesis has continued to challenge their joint efforts.
