See first he had 20 rupees he spent 8 on Monday...
12 are left on Monday
Tuesday he got a pocket money of 5 rupees so total he had 17 rupees
Wednesday he gave loan to his friend of 7 rupees he was left with 10 rupees
Thursday he used the money for having an ice cream of 10 rupees so he was left with 0 rupees
Friday he got 5 rupees as a reward
On Saturday his friend gave him 7 rupees
So on Sunday he has 7+5 rupees that is 12 rupees.
