Q.9)The company employed 400 at the beginning of 2001 and we have to calculate the number of years taken for the company to reach 785 increasing at the rate of 35 per year.
So,Total value required to go through = 785 - 400 = 385
Now,since the rate is 35 per year we divide it by the total value we have to go through =>
385 ÷ 35 = 11
So the number of years taken to reach 785 is 11.
Then starting from 2001 we add 11 years to it =>
2001 + 11 = 2012
Hence the year is 2012.
