Drafting committee was assign with the responsibility to prepare the Draft constitution. Drafting committee was set up on 20 Aug,1947 in India under the chairmanship of Dr .BR Ambedkar to prepare a draft consitution for India. Our constitution is unique. It is unique in many ways.....

it was a commitee formed to draft the best democratic constitution for india.it was one of eight committee formed by constituent assembly.it was proposed by m.n. roy and headed by b.r. ambedkar.it was presidized by Rajendra prasad .it was formed on 29 august 1947 and final draft was presented on 25 november 1949 .it's main members were -km munshi,krishna swamy ayyar,bl mittee ,DP khaitan etc.
