Concept:The diagonal are equal in a square and bisect each other.

Given diagonal length=8cm

In a square diagonal bisect each other and equal .

So, By phythagoreas theorem

4^2+4^2=side^2

16+16=side^2

=>side=√32

=>side=4√2

, perimeter of square 4×side

so, putting value we got

=4×4√2

=16√2

So, ur answer is 16√2

Length of diagonal =8cm

As length of all sides of a square are equal

the

∆ABC WILL BE A RIGHT ISOCELES TRIANGLE

AND ANGLE ABC =90°

SO ACCORDING TO

PYTHAGORAS BABA

AC^2=AB^2+BC^2

AS ALL SIDES ARE EQUAL

AB=BC

SO

AC=8 (DIAGONAL)

AC^2=64

64=2AB^2

32=AB^2

√32=AB

SO

PERIMETER

OF A SQUARE = SIDE ×4

=√32 ×4

=16√2
