Given Volume of gold in the wire = 1.1cm^3.

Given Diameter of the wire d = 0.1mm

The radius of the wire r = d/2

                                         = 0.05mm.

Now,

The volume of the gold in wire = Volume of the wire

1.1cm^3 = pir^2 * h

1.1 * 1000mm^3 = 22/7 * (0.05)^2 * h

1100 = 22/7 * 0.0025 * h

1100 * 7 = 22 * 0.0025 * h

7700 = 0.055 * h

h = 140000mm.

h = 140000 * 0.001 m

   = 140m.

Therefore the length of the wire = 140m.

Hope this helps!
