one factor is (x-2)
other is (x+1/3)
now divide the polynomial by the any one factor
x - 2)3 {x}^{3} - 2 {x}^{2} - 7x - 2(3 {x}^{2} + 4x + 1 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: 3 {x}^{3} - 6 {x}^{2} \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: 4 {x}^{2} - 7x \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: 4 {x}^{2} - 8x \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: x - 2 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: x - 2 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: 0 \\ factorise \: quotient \: for \: factors \\ 3 {x}^{2} + 4x + 1 \\ 3 {x}^{2} + 3x + x + 1 \\ 3x(x + 1) + 1(x + 1) \\ (3x + 1)(x + 1) \\
so all factors of polynomial are (x+1)(3x+1)(x-2)
