Many a times have I been manner full,and it has helped me win over my teacher's heart. I try to be as helpful as possible for example when I saw my teacher staggering with a pile of books I decided to help her out by carrying the books for her.That got me in to the good light of the teacher and it made both me,and the teacher happy.
